Tantrums! Or in other words, when your child 'loses it". Every parent experiences this at some point, involving a very dramatic and spectacular outburst of anger, frustration, or uncontrollable behavior. Tantrums are one of the ways younger children express feelings. Depending on your child's temperament, you can usually detect how quickly and strongly your child reacts to things.

It's a common sight to see a child having a tantrum while mum is rushing to the shops and running 'quick' errands. Here are some tips and tricks to prevent and deal with tantrums:
Going shopping after your child has had a nap or a snack
Stay calm (or at least try to!) by keeping your voice calm and slow. This shows your child that even though they are out of control, your not!
